Holy crap, it's been nearly a month! My sincerest apologies!

Where to begin?  Ah, I know.  I don't believe I've told you about my ambitions in the knitting world.  I'm going to start an Etsy shop!   My friends have been saying I should for a while now (years.), but I've been limited because I didn't start making my own patterns until last fall.  They're not published, but I've made several of my own hats, mittens, and a SWEATER all by myself.  At the end of February I even charted out some colorwork. Ooolala.  That chart is now on a laptop cozy and almost a completed hat.

Which brings me to the real topic of today's installment:  DPN's.  Or my lack of them.   Ok, I have at least a dozen complete sets of double pointed needles.   However, they're the really tiny ones used mostly for socks.  I don't know why I have so many, I don't even enjoy sock knitting tiny needles, thready yarn, TWO socks required, having size 10 feet and not being able to enjoy them anyway because I don't have size 10 patience! Woosah.  What I do need them for is finishing up hats, and I don't believe I've ever even seen a set of size 9 dpns in person.

Such is life.  BUT....  I have a birthday coming up, and I know of at least one friend who attempted to give me yarn for Christmas but was overwhelmed by the choices and walked out shaking his head, so perhaps he might be interested in my dearth of size 9 dpns.   Maybe he'll like a manly set of kevlar? titanium? needles....  Hmmmm.....

Well, I'm out for the evening.  I will finish this hat using the old bend the circular needle method.

Good night all!

Yeah, what's with the dpn population boom? I have the same thing happening... maybe they're like rabbits. Leave them alone for a minute and blamo! tons of dpns.
